Tom Digby ç‹„å¼¼ (he/his) is a dad and a husband.

An intellectual property lawyer and a scientist (M.Sc. Biochemistry).

A relentless climate optimist who believes the city is where we can take bold action to address climate change.
Tom sees parks as the beating heart of our urban biological ecosystem. As the foundation for pollinator corridors; and as essential links for migratory birds. Tom seeks to renew our commitment to biodiversity as a core value.

Tom is a policy wonk who loves to discuss the myriad details of Park Board policies, plans and budgets. He is ready to discuss the big picture challenges of Tents-in-Parks, and of co-management of our parks with the First Nations.

Tom promises to continue the outstanding leadership of Vancouver Greens at Park Board.

During 2024, Commissioner Digby is hosting a public discussion about urban forestry in Vancouver. Share your favourite tree story. Let people know your concerns, and where you see opportunities. Feedback will be used by Commissioner Digby to update and improve Vancouver's Urban Forest Strategy which is implemented by the Vancouver Park Board.
